You do know that when he reaches his teen years he's going to start posting pictures of you somewhere. Is there a photo hanging around of Steenky wearing a slutty witch costume or a pumpkin. With orange tights.
Poor guy. You've threatened to walk him from house to house and help him get yummy treats. How dare you?!?!?!?! :) Can I come trick-or-treating with you??
The trick is to make the costume "sound" bad ass, such as with the following suggestion(s) (and my assumption that the costume was a puppy costume):
* Hardcore Hound * Damage the Dog * Max, Leader of the Mongral Army * Warrior Woof
OK, clearly, I'm exhausted. I could do better. Not any better than that perfect Henry photo, but still...my apologies. Please, do not sick Take No Prisoners Pooch on me.
Oh yes, that reminds me of my dear boy. Last year, he was a dinosaur and he was an angry one. It was a wonder anyone gave him candy! The picture is adorable!
I would like to point out that this picture was taken in 2006. Henners didn't quite understand the concept of Halloween at age two. It was cold and that was the only jacket he would wear. He didn't like his costume and was only pacified a teensy bit if we told him he was a "hunting dog". That's why the camo coat. He has since gotten over his fear of dressing up. But this picture remains one of my favorite Halloween memories of the little guy.
Wow. Who peed in his Corn Flakes? You big meany!! The poor boy just wants to stay home and eat an apple, and you insist he go out and demand candy from complete strangers.
Well, you took the wind out of my comment, Jen. I was going to say that maybe he just didn't like the whole furry puppy thing. I guess I was right! I'm glad he's learned to enjoy my favorite holiday.
it's so much easier to make a dog warm by adding a camo coat, than a princess. or a fairy princess... or two fairy princesses... wish me luck. it snowed here today.
one year, i was gonna be something pretty. and my mom dressed me up as a cross country skier. screw MN weather.

That's a great picture. As long as he knows that he's going to enjoy it...or else, everything should be fine.
can you just clone him and send me one?
Ack! I just wanna give him candy! He must be doing it on purpose!!!
And Jen? It's 8:24AM, I'm back to stalking YOU!

me either, Henry. Me either.
Hilarious! Was he trying to man-up his costume with the cammo?
Hah, Henners is a cute albeit suspicious kid. I love it! What's Reese going as this year?
So he was an Army dog?

Great photo. Henry is doing better than my little guy who refuses to put on anything that resembles a costume!
LOVE that picture! He is such a doll... I'm going to send him a HUGE bag of candy just for being cute.
What have you done to that poor, poor boy!?
You're such a mignotta!!
He's still absolutely adorable even though you're torturing him.

The picture is adorable!
My monkey's were the same way even after they got some candy. Weird.
You've inspired me to post today.
there's nothing cuter than a kid in animal ears.
Last year my son, who wears a costume on at least a weekly, if not daily basis, refused to wear ANYTHING but footie pajamas on the actual day.

He's pretty darn cute. Love the oufit...a mercenary lion? hehe
Wait, that's a puppy dog costume, isn't it? A puppy going hunting? A soldier puppy? hehe
He might not like it
but the pictures are fun to see.
He is super cute!
AWwww, I want to hold him and pet him and name him Henners!
So cute!

Love the picture - expression is priceless!

Of course not! Who wants hard candy when Hershey bars exist! Take him the 'good' houses next time!
Oh how cute!!
Precious photo! That's a great one to look back on!
Love it! Is he holding a hot dog and a tootsie pop? That's my kind of kid!

OK. I admit it. That photo looks like something we would see at a distance here on the ranch and say, WTF!
That's adorable.
Your kid so rocks. Cute assed photo!
your child fails to take a photo I don't collapse into a fit of laughter over.
