Our Weekend and Laundry I Just Don't Want to Do

First, here's our weekend recap in a flash.

On Friday, Reese had pigtails.

She rocked them. She rocked them good.

On Saturday, she had post-pigtails or as we liked to call them, Ewok ears.

Still harnessing The Force or whatever. (Ewoks had The Force, right?) Reesie has The Fierce.

Sunday, Henry and I went to see a movie. Jeremy stayed home to tend Reese's hair.

But half-way through he wanted to bail and insisted we go home. Once we walked through our front door he announced that he wanted to go swimming. Um, I don't think so. This is as close to a dip in the pool as he got.

That's right. My three (soon to be four year old) lounged for the remainder of the evening on a blow up float mat.
Also, for some odd reason, Jeremy went target shooting with a giant.

Seriously, folks. My husband (the smaller one on the left) is just over 6 feet tall. Would you look at the size of his gun toting friend, Pedro? How big is he?! Pedro once brought us bagels of love.

**********

This is probably all I will post until the end of the week. I'm falling behind on the other part of my life and my entire house. Remember that laundry pile? Yeah, it's still there. I've resorted to using my "chairdrobe" to get myself dressed every morning. I will still visit all of you this week and comment religiously on your blogs. (I didn't mean to imply that I'll be spewing religious thoughts in your comment sections. My words will remain solely secular.) However, if something crizazy happens before this week is up, don't think I won't immediately extricate myself from my chores and share it with the internets. Peace out.

dude. i wish my hair would retain shape so wonderfully. that's power. if we could bottle that kind of power, think of everything we could accomplish. charlie's angels must have figured it out. their hair always held shape, even while fighting evil. i think maybe the force is reserved for bun/croissant shaped hair. reese seems to have tapped into rocking the free world with style.

I want to hang out with Pedro. Anyone who could make your 6 foot man look so tiny would be FANTASTIC for my weight loss ego!
I'll even pay him...you know, just to stand beside me every where I go.
And I love that pool toys aren't just for water anymore.

Reesie is so THE FIERCE. What cute pics. And..why are rafts so fun to recline on? We have had the same issues, I tried it once...it was just uncomfortable plus I looked really stupid (bonus).
Get your laundry done and get back to writing...you will be missed this week!

Reesie could totally start a new trend with those Ewok ears! If Claire ever gets any hair we'll have to try it!

Come back soon Steenky Bee!

Holy crap dude, how tall is Pedro?? My husband is 6'6" and I think he would dwarf him even.

PS. Reese has the most awesome post pigtail hair ever! What a cutie patootie!

I LOVE her hair! You should have spraypainted it pink. She would totally ROCK!

And, I love Pedro. How tall is he exactly?

I loathe laundry. I've been wearing clothes out of my floordrobe because I've been ignoring our pile(s) 'o laundry. Even though I have to climb over it with a rope and a spotter to get through my bathroom and into the closet.

And Reese is too cute.

Oh my gosh, your kids are adorable.

That tall guy frightens me. I'm 4'10" tall...he'd scare you too.

Jumped here from Sprite's Keeper..who I totally love!

Love your site!

Jeremy and Pedro look like a before and after picture. Like you washed Pedro in hot water and *poof* out popped Jeremy.

Have you ever gotten so far behind on the laundry that you had to run to Target at 9:45pm to buy socks for your kids to wear the next day? Me neither... just asking-

laundry sucks dirty feet. it's like the dishwasher...but for clothes. it's so 9-6 routine. if i had a river i might just mix things up a bit and try that out. maybe even buy a straw basket for my head. anything to cut free of the routine.

Quick list:

1) I love the Ewok ears-- stuff like that is the only fun thing about hair, for me.

2) That guy is HUGE! If he's quick on his feet, he could be the greatest center the NBA has ever seen-- nothing would get through him.

3) Feel free to comment religiously (meant literally, of course) on my blog-- could spice things up in a nice way.

I love when toddler hair does that! (It's my gauge for knowing how long ago she took her hair down. The higher it is and more grouped, the sooner it was done.)
Sprite can never keep her hair looking nice.

Awesome.

I'm fully satisfied and can now go to sleep.
